This course is designed for insurance intermediaries to understand the basic concepts of “extended warranty” (EW), specifically for the roles of EW to manufacturers, consumers and also the business opportunities and marketing/underwriting implications to insurance practitioners.

Wilson has over 30 years of extensive insurance experience as top level strategic and marketing management for insurance companies and brokers in Canadian, China and Hong Kong markets. He has strong technical background on all lines of insurance business attained with top global insurance professional qualifications (FCII from UK, FCIP from Canada, CPCU from the U.S) and also legal training (LLM and GDL) from UK and HK university, with practical on-the-job experience as loss adjuster, marine surveyor, claims manager and risk manager (for Daya Bay nuclear power plant). He completed his doctorate research degree in 2014 studying the marketing attributes on environmental liability insurance in China. Wilson is also Visiting Associate Professor of Macao City University and mentor to City University of Hong Kong MBA students.
