Introduction:
The BSc (Hons) Global Business Management (Formerly BA (Hons) Business and International Management) is a degree programme offered by Northumbria University and operated by SHAPE. Students will be conferred the same award as Northumbria University home campus students.
This course has been designed to give you the ideal balance between a broad understanding of business, whilst developing your specialist knowledge in contemporary business management models and learning how to evaluate how businesses operate globally in an increasingly competitive environment.

Fast Track – Final Year Honours Degree
The programme provides a direct entry to obtain a bachelor degree in 18 months on a part-time basis.

Entry Requirements:
Holders of VTC Higher Diploma in relevant Business subjects;
OR
Holders of VTC Professional Diploma in Business Management (with at least three years of relevant work experience*);
OR
Holders of Higher Diploma or Associate Degree or equivalent qualifications in relevant Business subjects awarded by recognised institutions will also be considered*.
*To be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by Northumbria’s academic staff. The documentation typically required for evaluation includes CVs, reflective statements and evidence that directly supports prior achievement of the Northumbria required learning outcomes.
English Proficiency Requirements:
Applicants holding post-secondary qualifications (e.g. Higher Diploma, Associate Degree) taught and assessed in English from recognised institutions;
OR
At least an overall IELTS score of 6.0 (with 5.5 in each component), or equivalent.
