Part-time Lecturers

Subject Areas:
 - Horticulture
 -  Arboriculture 

Major Duties:
1.    To perform teaching duties;
2.    To develop course curriculum and teaching materials;
3.    To develop and prepare assignments, examination papers and marking schemes;
4.    To mark students’ assignments and examinations;
5.    To carry out duties related to student and academic administration; and
6.    To participate in networking with industry and departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies and seminars.

Requirements:
(a)    A recognised degree in the discipline of Horticulture/Arboriculture/Landscape/Forestry or equivalent;
(b)    At least 3 years’ relevant industry or training experience;
(c)    Preferably with a qualification offered by a professional institution or industry organisation on horticulture/arboriculture; and
(d)    Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese.
