Part-time Lecturer (PgD, PDI and Various CPD Course)

Subject Areas:
(i)    Project development and coordination / course delivery for Postgraduate / Professional Diploma programme for the fields of Insurance and Risk Management (particularly for topics of Compliance & Corporate Governance, Enterprise Risk, Financial Risk, Reinsurance, Property Insurance, etc.) 
(ii)    Various topics of Investment, Financial Planning, Greater Bay Area and China related courses, Business Etiquette, Business Ethics, Compliance, Arbitration, Health & Medical insurance, Fintech, Sales Management etc. for CPD or In-company related training courses

Major Duties:
(a)    To develop quality support service for assigned project development, coordination and to carry out any other duties as assigned;
(b)    To develop learning / teaching materials;
(c)    To propose teaching plan, etc. and to provide relevant recommendations or suggestions; 
(d)    To deliver the programmes and carry out relevant tasks, such as managing class discipline and taking student attendance; and
(e)    To develop and prepare assessments and marking scheme and to carry out academic and administrative duties, including attending review meetings, etc.

Requirements: 
(a)    A recognised relevant degree, or FCII, or ANZIIF (Fellowship) designation, or equivalent, preferably with CFA, FRM or CFP designation (and at least a master degree for teaching post-graduate programme, preferably with doctorate qualification and experience in dissertation supervision);
(b)    At least 3 years’ relevant work experience, with training experience an added advantage; and
(c)    Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese.

Term Officer

Major Duties: 

(a)    To promote programmes and training services to potential clients and prospective students;
(b)    To prepare and develop promotional content for marketing materials, and to manage the website and social media accounts;
(c)    To assist in procurement and management of service provider contracts, as well as support general office administration, systems administration and technical related matters;
(d)    To undertake committee work in various committees, boards and meetings;
(e)    To assist in organising industry events and functions;
(f)    To handle students, public enquiries and complaints; and
(g)    To perform any other duties assigned by the Principal of PEAK to support the smooth operation of the unit.

Requirements:
(a)    A recognised degree or equivalent qualification;
(b)    at least 2 years’ relevant work experience in publicity, event management and/or professional training;
(c)    Result-driven, service-oriented with good presentation, problem-solving, negotiation and people skills; and
(d)    Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua.

Notes:
(1)    Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.
(2)    Shortlisted candidates may be required to take a written assessment.
(3)    The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and multiple locations within and outside Hong Kong.

Term Executive Assistant II


Major Duties: 

(a)    To provide support in one or more of the following areas:
(i)    student admissions, student affairs and student records;
(ii)    course promotion and event organisation; 
(iii)    general administration, data processing and filing; and
(iv)    procurement, supplies and stores administration;
(b)          To assist in providing secretarial support for committees/meetings; and
(c)          To handle enquiries and draft simple correspondence.

Requirements:
(a)    (i)    Level 2 or above in 5 subjects, including English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination, or equivalent^; OR
        (ii)    Level 2 / Grade E or above in 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE); OR
        (iii)   Diploma of Applied Education + Maths Plus / Diploma Yi Jin + Mathematics / Project Yi Jin; OR
        (iv)   A recognised Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate / Diploma of Foundation Studies; OR
         (v)     A recognised Associate Degree / Higher Diploma or above.
* Completion of Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / Passing 5 specific VTC’s Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification.
^“Attained:” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in HKDSE Examination are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects.
(b)    Proficiency in the use of computer software application, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing;
(c)    Good command of Chinese and English, preferably with knowledge of Putonghua;
(c)    Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills;
(d)    Ability to work independently and be a good team player; and
(e)    Good work attitude and be customer-oriented.
