The Institute of Professional Education And Knowledge (PEAK) is one of the member institutions of the Vocational Training Council responsible for the provision of in-service training and professional examination services.  More than 200 major companies have utilized its corporate training services.

Term Officer (Accounting)  (Ref: PEAK/OFF/5309/23-24)

Major Duties:
(a)    To provide general accounting services in respect of:
(i)    financial planning and management;
(ii)    costing financial analysis and management reporting; and
(iii)    ledger accounting;
(b)    To help in the development and implementation of accounting policies, guidelines, procedures and computerized financial systems;
(c)    To conduct feasibility study on new initiatives; and
(d)    To lead and supervise a team of staff.

Requirements:
(a)    A recognized relevant degree, or equivalent professional qualifications;
(b)    At least two years’ relevant work experience preferably in sizeable organizations;
(c)    Good command of English and Chinese;
(d)    Good proficiency in Microsoft Office Software and computerized accounting/procurement systems;
(e)    Be proactive and able to work independently; and
(f)    Good problem solving, time management, interpersonal and communication skills.

Term Programme Executive (Ref: PEAK/EA2/5209/23-24)

Major Duties:

(a)    To provide support in one or more of the following areas: 
(i)    student admissions, student affairs and student records;
(ii)    course promotion and event organisation; and
(iii)    data processing and filing;
(b)    To assist in providing secretarial support for committees/meetings;
(c)    To handle enquiries and provide counter services; and
(d)    To provide general administrative support to the Institute.

Requirements:
(a)    (i)    5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) at Grade E/Level 2 or above including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, or equivalent; OR
(ii)    A combination of results in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination at Level 2 or above in New Senior Secondary subjects / “Attained” or above in Applied Learning subjects / Grade E or above in Other Language subjects; and the 5 subjects should include English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics; OR 
(iii)    A recognized Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate, or Project Yi Jin.

Part-time Instructors/Lecturers (Ref: PEAK/PTL/5109/23-24)

Subject Areas: Workplace Putonghua

Major Duties:
(1)    To perform teaching and training duties;
(2)    To prepare lesson plan;
(3)    To develop, update and prepare training materials (including but not limited to teaching materials, assignments, examination paper and marking schemes);
(4)    To mark students’ assignments and examinations; and
(5)    To carry out duties related to student and academic administration.

Requirements: 
(a)    (i)    A recognized degree in Chinese Language / Chinese Language and Literature / Language Studies (Chinese) / Chinese Linguistics / Education (Chinese) / Communication or equivalent professional qualifications, preferably with post-graduate qualifications; OR
    (ii)    A recognized degree in Translation / Teaching Chinese as a Second Language or as a Foreign Language.  A transcript with course details should be provided for consideration. AND
(b)    (i)    Grade B, Level 2 or above in the Test of Proficiency in Putonghua administered by the State Commission on Language Work; OR
    (ii)    A pass in the Language Proficiency Assessment for Teachers
    (Putonghua) administered by the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessments Authority (HKEAA) or equivalent.
(c)    At least 3 years of working experience in relevant industry or language teaching;
(d)    Native-level Putonghua is a must, fluency in Cantonese, English is an advantage; 
(e)    Strong presentation and facilitation skills; 
(f)    Strong background in corporate training or teaching;  
(g)    Good communication skills and the ability to motivate students are definite advantages.

(1)    Candidates without the required academic qualification stated in (a) above but
(i)     with relevant recognized Higher Diploma or equivalent plus at least 3 years’ relevant experience; OR
(ii)     at least 8 years’ relevant experience*
