Programme Information
This course aims to help participants to understand various key financial products related to sustainable development, social responsibility, and green finance in Hong Kong, as well as the Greater Bay Area. Through case studies, the principles and objectives of sustainable finance will be explained and analyzed, as well as the initiatives taken by various green finance institutions to promote social responsibility. The close connection between sustainable finance practices and institutions, as well as individual investors will also be highlighted.
Part 1- Overview of Sustainable Development, Social Responsibility, and Green Finance in Hong Kong
- Understanding market trends and regulatory bodies in the field of sustainable development, social responsibility, and green finance in Hong Kong.
- Understand sustainable finance in Hong Kong.
- Understanding financial social responsibility and green finance in Hong Kong.
Part 2- Overview of "Greenwashing" and Sustainable development, Social Responsibility and Green Finance in the Mainland and the Greater Bay Area
- Understand what “greenwashing” is, and the related risks and guidelines.
- Understand market trends and regulatory agencies in the fields ofsustainable development, social responsibility and green finance in mainland.
- Understand the advantages, market characteristics and terms of green loan in mainland
- Understanding the policies and practices of green finance in the GBA

*Students will receive a confirmation email within 5 working days after successful enrolment (exclusive of Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays).
*Students should complete the eCPD programme before the course expiry date specified on the confirmation email. (i.e. generally within 3 months)
* Student must complete all parts of the course and pass relevant assessment(s) in order to obtain the e-Certificate of attainment issued by the Institute of Professional Education And Knowledge (PEAK) and earn specific CPD hours of the course.
*For E-learning CPD activities: Individual licensees can only earn CPD hours by taking the E-learning CPD activity once during the same Assessment Period. If an individual licensee repeats the same E-learning CPD activity in the same Assessment Period, the repeat one will not be counted.
