Module Intended Learning Outcomes :

On completion of the module, students are expected to be able to :

explain the basic concepts and theories of cost control and financial management that are essential in running a catering business
inperpret the financial performance of a catering business by analysing different performance indicators and propose possible ways for operational improvements
generate solutions to the catering operation cycle by applying cost control analysis

Entry Requirement :

Mature applicants i.e., those aged 23 or above, with at least 2 years relevant experience; OR
Five passes in HKCEE including English Language and Chinese Language, with at least 3 years relevant experience; OR
Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above including Chinese Language and English Language, with at least 2 years relevant experience; OR
Equivalent to the above qualification.
